I consider Pine River to be my hometown, I am a 1999 graduate of PR-B High School. I have a lot of immediate and extended family in this area which is why we were eager to move back here after my years away.
I always wanted to be in the beauty industry so after moving to Missouri, I finally enrolled in the cosmetology program. A few years after school I went on to become a National Educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems.
Education in the beauty industry has always been a huge part of who I am as a stylist. I live by the mantra “You don’t know what you don’t know and some of what you know isn’t so!” In a nut shell, this is what keeps me hungry for learning the next technique or the next best way to accomplish your dream look!
Upon retiring as an educator I became involved with a salon that introduced me to the wonderful world of Redken. Through this relationship I have been able to take my skills to the next level! I am now certified in Redken Haircolor, Brazilian Blowouts, Mizani Aircuts (curly hair), CND Shellac Gel Manicures & Mirabella Makeup.
When I am not in the salon I am spending time with my husband, our German Shepard, cat and our crazy flock of birds. You will surely hear a story about one or all of them! I have 2 grown children and 2 beautiful grand daughters that have all decided to dig their roots in the area too.

I am new to town but not new behind the chair! After more than 20 years slinging hair in Maple Grove, MN I am happy to call AC Hair Co. my new home. As a curly girl myself I consider myself a curly expert. Helping guests fall in love with their curls and texture is one of my favorite things about being a stylist, whether you’re just starting your journey with your curls or you’re looking for a new curly stylist. I also really enjoy BIG dramatic changes and the fun of sharing in the joy my guests feel once we have completed their new look.
I feel that it doesn’t matter how good a style is if you can’t recreate it at home so rest assured that I will take the time to educate you on how to recreate your look! Loving your hair everyday is one of the greatest compliments I can receive as your stylist.
Growing up in an outdoorsy family, I have found a love of natural spaces and the wildlife that inhabits it. When I’m not behind the chair you will likely find me at the lake; be it fishing, floating or throwing a ball for our Labradors. I am thrilled that my husband and I found the opportunity to move to our lake home full-time.

Hello! I am the voice behind your call into AC Hair Co. or the smiling face you see first when you walk in the door. I joined the team September 2023 and I have very much enjoyed the fun environment and the energy of the salon. I am new to this industry so when I am not scheduling appointments, I am learning all about the many products we carry and trying out as many as I can to ensure I can recommend the right service or retail item for you.
My roots have always been in Pine River, I am a 2009 graduate from PRB High School and I have a young daughter that attends there as well. I love everything that has to do with the outdoors! I am an avid hiker, runner and biker and don’t even get me started on snowboarding and four wheeling! I am new to the world of gardening so if you have a little extra time while you are in the salon I would love to hear your tips!
